One day I was looking at my Kinect fot my xbox and thought ‘’the lens has to be protected so how am I going to do that. Maybe with an eyepatch. But if it gets an eyepatch it is going to need a hat just like Stan.’’ And that’s where this DIY started.
The things you wil need:
For the eyepatch:
· 2 black pieces of felt that will fit over the lenses of the kinect.
· 1 black elastic band. Make sure it fits around the kinect but isn’ t too tight. You don’t want to damage the lens.
· Textile glue.
For the hat:
Optional but fun.
· 1 piece of rectangle- shaped red felt.
· 1 piece of flower-shaped red felt. Make sure the other piece of felt fits arount it when you want to glue it on the leaves.
· 1 claw shaped piece of yellow felt.
How you make it:
The eyepatch:
· Glue the pieces of black felt and the elastic band together. Make sure that the sides of the felt stick together and the elastic band is glued well so it can’ t come out.
· Let it dry and your done
The hat:
· Glue the rectangle-shaped piece of felt to the leaves of the fower-shaped piece of felt. This can be very tricky because you make it round so it can fall out of place.
· Glue on the claw-shaped piece on the font of the hat.
· Let it dry and you’re done!
